ABOUT SPECIALTY ACADEMY
Specialty Academy is a support system for all stylist. Not only do we strive to deliver the absolute best firsthand training experiences, but we also serve our students as mentors, offer business advice, and assist in job placement. Our in-person hands-on training allows us to speak and teach every learning style for the best educational experience our students could receive.

OUR STORY
Specialty Academy was established in 2021 by sisters Olivia and Raquel with the purpose of supporting newly licensed beauty professionals and those struggling to establish themselves. We struggled to find quality training and mentoring locally in the early stages of our careers and after attending multiple poorly taught training courses we realized that there was a gap in our local industry of quality education and mentoring. We made it our mission to ensure that no other stylists would have to go through what we did.
Classroom
At Specialty Academy, we offer hands-on high-quality trainings! Our classroom is equipped for group trainings and strategically set up so each student can perform each step of the course comfortably and freely. Our classroom space mimics that of a beauty professional, so that students can get the most realistic hands-on experience possible.
Student Perks
Premiere brow and lash education from a Borboleta Certified Educator. You will learn and practice with quality products, in an in person format with smaller class sizes giving you more one on one time with our instructors. Once you have completed a training you will receive preferred pricing (10% off on future Borboleta products and education), be listed on the Borboleta website directory, get a Borboleta certificate and be invited to quarterly alumni webinars.
